New MWC Tourney venue?

Ah, a subject that is near and dear to my heart.

I hate that we play the MWC basketball tournament in Vegas. Actually, I take that back. I don't mind that we play in Vegas, but I hate that we play on UNLV's freaking home court, the Thomas & Mack Center.

The MWC has a contract with the T&M Center through the 2010 tournament, and after that season the conference has some decisions to make.

According to a news release distributed earlier today, there are six venues under consideration for the 2011-2013 MWC tournament:

Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas
Cox Arena - San Diego
Energy Solutions Arena - Salt Lake
E Center - Salt Lake
Pepsi Center - Denver
The Pit - Albuquerque

What's your vote? Personally, I'm throwing all my weight behind either of the Salt Lake venues. If it's not in Salt Lake, then I support the Pepsi Center. In essence, I support any venue that is neutral. In fact, I'd support a venue in Las Vegas if it were a neutral court.

I just hate that we play on UNLV's home court.
